Previous Chapters: Part I

( It started as a tiny flicker of consciousness. )

Here is the first, short chapter of my new fanfic that I am dedicating to Jamie, rawambition because she completely reawakened my love for this ship. This is the AU ship that began my love affair with AU couples. It's started with Draco/Hermione and from there it went to Pyro/Kitty and finally its now onto Koichi/Naruse (cuz it's hot.) I came up with the idea for this story after watched Half-Blood Prince for the third time and desperatly wanted to write something longer than the one-shot I posted before. So, I started this story.

It takes place during Deathly Hallows, pretty much write smack in the middle of Malfoy Manor and that's where the story begins. The title and verses in the beginning of each chapter are from the song The Lightening Strike Part I by Snow Patrol (listen to it!) and the story evolved from that song. Because I think, it is the perfect Dramione song. Even if you don't like the pairing, give it a chance. Because so far, I love it. Enjoy, and let me know what you think! ^__^
